Dataset Description (Abstract): Dataset associated with paper Fuentes-Montemayor E, Watts K, Sansum P, Scott W & Park KJ (In press) "Moth community responses to woodland creation: the influence of woodland age, patch characteristics and landscape attributes" Diversity and Distributions. Dataset contains information on local and landscape-level characteristics of 79 woodland patches which form part of the Woodland creation and Ecological Networks project (WrEN; http://wren-project.com/). Dataset also includes information on the abundance on individual moth species detected at each site, as well as total abundance and species richness of macro- and micro-moths, categorised as woodland generalists or specialists.
